Your photos and personal details.
We only use what you tell us to create, print and deliver your card, and we keep as little as possible for as short a time as possible.
Your photo is never stored
If you add a photo, it stays in your browser. It is sent securely to our image-generation provider (OpenAI) only while your design is being created, then discarded. We never save it. If you refresh the page, you will need to add it again to make another design. OpenAI’s API terms say it may keep request data for up to 30 days to check for abuse, and does not use it to train its models.
Your designs
The designs we create for you are stored privately. Only a watermarked preview is ever shown in your browser. Designs for cards that are not bought are deleted within 7 days.
Your order
When you order, the print file for your card and the delivery address are sent to our trusted third-party printing partner to print and post it, and your payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details. Print files are deleted 30 days after your order, which lets us reprint if anything goes wrong in the post. We keep the order details themselves (names, addresses and what was ordered) only for as long as we need them for the order, customer service and our legal and accounting records.
Emails from us
We use your email address to send your receipt and anything about your order. We only send you news and offers if you tick the box to say yes, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share information with
OpenAI, to create your design; a trusted third-party printing partner, to print and deliver your card; Stripe, to take payment. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else.
Development mode
While this site is in development it may use demo artwork, and it does not place live payment or print orders.
